What you need to know about scrapping your car

Scrapping your car can seem daunting. But for some situations, it's the only option left.

For example, your vehicle might have been in a serious accident and been written off, or it's been deemed unsafe for the road and irreparable. Either way, the end destination is ultimately the scrapyard. And not so long ago, if you wanted your car picked up and taken there, you would have expected to pay for the privilege.
