Are UK driving standards falling?

A poll from Auto Express has shown that 90% of motorists think UK driving standards are getting worse with only 15% saying their performance has dropped.

Driving standards in the UK have fallen over the past five years, but motorists refuse to blame themselves, according to a survey from Auto Express.

172,907 new cars were registered in July, a rise of 6.6% and the 29th consecutive month of growth, according to statistics from SMMT. Are new improved finance deals the cause?

A couple of weeks ago, we wrote a blog about mobile phone driving law. Since then statistics have revealed that fewer drivers are using their mobile phones behind the wheel.

 

Figures shared by Get Surrey show a gradual decline in fixed penalty notices issued to motorists for phone usage in the county since 2010.
